Enough is Enough
“There is a modern minimalist movement today that is all about simplifying and decluttering your surroundings. The movement is all about tidying up your outside so you can find peace on the inside. What if I told you that if you let go, you can declutter what’s on the inside of you and the clutter that’s on the outside will be taken care of.” Joseph Prince, “Live the Let Go Life”
Is there anything hindering you from being set free from what’s tormenting you?
Are you ready to say, “enough is enough” and do whatever it takes to get control of your life?
Scripture says, “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.” Psalm 91:1-5
Verse 3 in the NIV reads like this, “Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.” God promises to deliver us from the snare of the fowler.
If you are feeling defeated today, I want to encourage you to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God. Get into His presence and He will set you free from all the worries, all the stress, the anxious thoughts, the negative self-talk, whatever is tormenting your mind, He will restore you to wholeness and “rescue you from every trap and protect you.” Amen.
