Love and Unity

I believe we are on the verge of a historic opportunity to see the Body of Christ show the world what unity looks like. The world does not know unity, so God wants to use the Church as a vehicle to display unity to the world. This historic opportunity is being met with historic opposition! Revival is being met with resistance and the enemy is using disunity to spread more division and hate. Please join with me and pray for unity. But we can be a part of the change we want to see in the world through our actions too. Jack Williams wrote this,

“While much of America seems to be getting more and more divisive, I’m going to be holding doors for strangers, letting people cut in front of me in traffic, greet all I meet, exercising patience with others, and smiling at strangers. I’ll do this as often as I have the opportunity. I will not stand idly by and let children live in a world where unconditional love is invisible and being rude is acceptable. Join me in showing love and respect to others. find your way to swing the pendulum in the direction of love. Because today, sadly, hate is gaining ground. Love must begin somewhere, and love will overcome hate. Imagine the difference if we purposefully love a little more.”

Jesus said this in John 13:34-35, “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

And in 1John 4:18 it says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”

Sometimes we fear what we don’t understand, or we fear offending others, but perfect love casts out all fear. Keep loving people with the Love of God that He has given you!
