What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe love for God and towards mankind is the greatest of all of God’s commandments (Matt 22:36-40).

We believe the Bible, the Word of God is the actual inspired, God breathed word of God (2nd Tim 3:16,17).

We believe Jesus is the Word become flesh (John 1:14).

Meaning the very words of God became a man, Jesus Christ. The Old Testament, all 39 books are the Words of God, and they are to be believed and trusted, fully for us today, but fulfilled in Jesus our Lord (Matt 1:21-23, Matt 5:17).

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh (John 1:14). Born of a literal virgin with no sin through the line of Adam. (Isaiah 7:14, Matt. 1:23 & Matt 1).

Jesus never sinned but was perfect. (2 Cor 5:21 & Heb 4:14).

Jesus was fully man and fully God (John 1:14, Heb 2:17 & John 1:1).

He chose to lay down His heavenly kingship to live among us.

His throne for a manger (John 6:38, 2 Cor 8:9 & Luke 2:7).

Jesus claimed there was no other way to heaven and to our heavenly Father but though Him (John 14:6). Basically, if you want to go to heaven, you can’t, unless you trust Him to take you there (John 3:36).

We believe love to God and towards mankind is the greatest of all of God’s commandments (Matt 22:36-40). I believe Jesus walked the earth for 40 days after his literal resurrection (Acts 1:3) and then ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9-11) where He now sits at the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19).

We believe Jesus sent the promise of His Holy Spirit (John 20:22)

All who receive the Holy Spirit will have power from on high and will perform miracles and power to testify to the God who created the universe (Acts chapters 1 & 2).

Jesus performed actual miracles, not tricks. He was not a magician but a miracle worker (Acts 2:22).

Jesus gave up His life willingly and was born to die for the sins of the world (John 10:18 & Rev 1:17-18). Jesus died on a cross, didn’t just fall asleep and then wake up a few days later (1 Peter 2:24) I believe Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).
